For access to the Resource Directory, got to the Members Only area.
The Resource Directory provides a wealth of information and contacts about our members, including statistical information and profiles of individuals and learning centers drawn from a survey that is distributed to the membership and others in the learning assistance field.
The Resource Directory is one of the benefits of membership.
Many people have been involved in the development of the Resource Directory. In the Spring of 1989, Martha Casazza, President of MCLCA, sent a survey to the membership asking them to share information about their jobs, centers, institutions, and services. Casazza compiled the data and mailed a booklet out to all MCLCA members. The Resource Directory has been updated several times, in 1991 by Donna Lutes Franzen, in 1994 by Susan Smith, in 1996 by Shevawn Eaton, in 1998 by Jackie Robertson, in 2000 by Mark May, in 2002 by Andrea Mericle and Linda Dixon, and in 2005 by Linda Dixon.
Information from past directories is also available to NCLCA members in the Members Only area.
Descriptive data about the learning assistance profession is often difficult to find. Thank you to everyone who has responded to the surveys and to those who are willing to share your knowledge and expertise with others.
