conference mission
Each year, NCLCA hosts an Annual Conference focusing on learning
center administration, research, theory, staffing, funding, and an
array of other issues in our field. Our four-day conference
includes several Post-Conference Institutes, a Plenary Session with
a keynote speaker, a Welcome Reception, a Continuing the
Conversation Luncheon, a Member Breakfast, an Awards Banquet with a
keynote speaker, a Presidential Reception for Newcomers, over 50
concurrent sessions, a variety of Post-Conference Institutes,
several Exhibitors, and exciting Night on the Town options, to name
a few of our offerings.
NCLCA conferences are well-known for friendly, tight-knit
collegiality. We are an organization devoted to one audience:
learning center professionals, and this annual gathering allows us
to connect in ways that may be difficult within a larger venue.
NCLCA's most recent conference was held in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania
from October 4-October 7, 2006. Please visit the website below and
access the conference program for more details. A conference
summary will be available soon.
We are looking forward to 2007! NCLCA's 22nd Annual Conference will
be held in Atlanta, Georgia. Look for the 2007 Conference website
soon!
