Hotel: Hilton Charlotte University Place

The Hilton Charlotte University Place is a non-smoking hotel and offers complimentary wireless internet access in all guest rooms and public areas. The hotel is within easy walking distance of many restaurants and shopping and is about a mile from the University of North Carolina Charlotte. The hotel has a scenic view of the lake which is encircled by a mile-long walking path.

Shuttle Information

Local Committe Chair, Martha Sanburg, is coordinating attendees' flight information with Lotus Limousine, the shuttle service for the University Hilton. The hotel will provide a limited number of "free" shuttle rides to the airport on a first-come, first served basis. Please email Martha your flight arrival and departure information:

Arrangements with Lotus and other limousine services must be made in advance; taxi service is available upon arrival with no advance reservation required (approx. $40 fare, but can be shared)
