Continuing the Conversation Groups Luncheon

Our popular “Continuing the Conversation” Luncheon provides you with a unique chance to network with other learning center professionals and share ideas, best practices, challenges, and questions about the “Rhythms” and “Blues” of a topic of interest.

Attendees are grouped according to interests as indicated on the registration form. Each group of participants will have questions to prompt discussion but will also have the opportunity to come up with their own questions to guide the conversation. These topics of interest will include:

• The Rhythm and Blues of Research Design and/or Publication

• The Rhythm and Blues of Tutor Training and Evaluation

• The Rhythm and Blues of Technology in Learning Centers

• The Rhythm and Blues of Supplemental Instruction Programs

• The Rhythm and Blues of Special Student Populations

• The Rhythm and Blues of Learning Center Programming and Management

• The Rhythm and Blues of Online Academic Support

• The Rhythm and Blues of Multiculturalism and Other Types of Diversity

• The Rhythm and Blues of Student Employees/Tutors

• The Rhythm and Blues of Marketing and Fundraising for Learning Center Services

• The Rhythm and Blues of Professional Development

This lunch is a wonderful opportunity to connect with others in the learning center field who are interested in similar issues and share some practical guidance that you can take back to your center.
