Georgia Perimeter College (GPC), a regional, multi-campus unit of the University System of Georgia, serves the diverse population of traditional and non-traditional students in greater metro Atlanta. The Decatur Campus (formerly called South Campus) is one of five Georgia Perimeter College campuses located on the city perimeter.  It is one of the most scenic college campuses in the Atlanta area. The campus is surrounded by lush, landscaped acres and is the home of the 4-acre Georgia Perimeter College Native Plant Garden.  Several miles of walking trails and tree-lined walkways connect the north and south portions of the campus.

The Decatur Campus, along with our other GPC campuses, offers students an exciting college experience designed to meet the needs of those seeking to transfer to a four-year university, to obtain job skills certification, or to simply pursue personal enrichment goals.  Students benefit from highly qualified faculty, small classes, and partnerships with local four year institutions and secondary schools.  Decatur Campus is also one of GPC’s most technologically sophisticated campuses; students can choose among traditional classes taught in smartboard-equipped classrooms, hybrid classes which combine face-to-face class time and webct sessions, or online classes for students with time or distance challenges.
